A long time ago, in one friendly family two sisters were given identical plush Bunnies, which became the most favorite and irreplaceable toys! But the love of the girls was expressed in different ways. One of them blew dust off her friend, kept and protected him as the apple of her eye. And the other - could not live a minute without a favorite, everywhere took with him, fed, fed, fed him and put him to sleep next to him. Of course, the result - on the face. One of them is a complete wreck, and the second one is a rarity, but strong enough. Our task was to create the most similar Bunny from modern materials, instead of the beloved friend, and preserved gray - to restore. We tried very hard to justify the expectations placed on us. Although we had to change the color scheme when creating a clone of the toy, but saved the situation perfectly correct design, which one in one recreated the shape and size of the surviving Bunny. Another difficult moment was the manufacture of fittings, namely - eyes and spout. First, we molded them from a special material, then dried, long leveled, to achieve maximum coincidence of details, and then still with the original had to check them, adjust the size and degree of opuklosti. As a result, a month later, grown up sisters received one restored childhood friend and one more of the same, but in an updated version.Now these toys will faithfully serve the younger generation of the family. Well, how could we, real plush "wizards" could bypass such a wonderful forest spirit from the popular anime? Our Totoro in the form of the cutest soft toy turned out to be 45 cm tall. This is a little more than the usual standard, but a good plushie, like a person, should be a lot. Therefore, the pudgy Totoro is created in maximum conformity with cartoon proportions. Perhaps someone will find the coloring of the toy strange, but here everything depended on the wishes of the customer. That's why we chose materials with such coloring and, of course, we paid special attention to the texture. All the plush used in the work has different shades, but gives equally pleasant tactile sensations when touching. Toy restoration is a business that knows no distances, borders, language barriers and other far-fetched obstacles. A big tear in the fur on the back of the head was also eliminated with the help of a secret stitch. The lost eyes and nose were replaced with new ones. We appreciated the labor invested in the bear and decided to bring to a more professional level all the manipulations done before us. After careful cleaning of the fur, we reinforced all the existing seams. Torn out pieces of fur closed patches of similar material both in color and texture. We worked on the claws. They had to be impregnated with a special strengthening solution, so that the native "manicure" reliably held. Special attention was paid to the cotter pin connection, we made it as strong as possible, so that all the limbs sit tightly without losing mobility. And finally - fluffed up a pile of vintage plush. The reward didn't last long! When Bear comes home, his little mistress simply won't part with him. And that means that we did a great job! As we always do!
Every mother knows that children's favorite toys need frequent washing.
